Smelly drains are typically caused by a combination of hair and soap scum. A couple of simple DIY tricks to eliminate these odours.
- Pour boiling water down the drain, wait minutes and pour an equal amount of cold water. Repeat.
- Remove sink pop up, pour ½ cup baking soda into the drain, followed by ½ cup vinegar. When the fizzing stops, carefully pour boiling water into the drain
If this doesn’t work, you may need to replace your P-Trap
