Mix together

- ¾ cup of baking soda
- ½ teaspoon of dishwashing liquid
- ½ teaspoon of salt (natural
- Add 10 drops of essential oils such as DoTERRA (we love lemon or citrus bliss)
- Add 3/8 of a cup of water slowly – mixing as you pour
- Once mixed (consistency of wet sand), form into tablespoon sized balls
- Press mixture until it is compact and uniform
- Place refreshers on a metal cookie sheet lined with parchment paper to dry overnight
- Store in a glass jar for future use
To use, place one or two refreshers into the garbage disposal and turn on
Note: to keep your garbage disposal working well, continue running COLD water for approximately 15 seconds after it’s done grinding. Also, do not pour any grease down disposal – grease should be put in a jar or can until hardened and thrown into the garbage.
